The winners of this prestigious award have been announced and guess what, I'm really proud to announce I'm not one of them. I had you going there for a minute didn't I? Seriously though you might want to check out some of the winning shots on this
slide show as some of the shots are fabulous. I'm especially fond of Red Fox by Matt Binstead and Mystical Deer by Mark Smith. In fact Red Fox made an appearance in the photo section of the UK & Irish times magazine this weekend so you may have already seen it.
As to why I didn't win, well apart from the fact that I'm not in Britain and didn't enter there is the small matter that I'm brutal at wildlife photography, I just don't have the patience for it. I've attached what's probably the best shot I've managed and you'll note I've a way to go before I could enter, never mind win a competition like the BWP. Congratulations to all the winners.
